My studies began at Santa Barbara City College when I completed my Associate Arts Degree in Art.
I then transferred to Chicago IL to complete my Bachelors Degree in Fine Art at Harrington Institute of Interior Design. I taught two semesters at the Harrington Institute of drafting classes and studio design 101. I was fully employed during my education and immersed myself in all aspects of interior design.
As I see it, Residential design, is the connection with the client and the challenge to guide them to find their own personal style.

I equally love residential and hospitality design, both for their unique challenges. My design aesthetic is layering with minimalism, natural landscape elements, lighting, and an eclectic approach, with a twist to the future and a nod to the past. Working while in school provided me with a total of fifteen years of experience in Residential, Hospitality, and Corporate design. For the past six years I have run my own, singly operated business. My projects have allowed me to work on homes from classic to contemporary. I have been published in Coastal Growers Magazine, Monterey Bay, CA as a freelance writer for two volumes.

My unique insight allows me to take all aspects of design, visualize a project as a whole, and manage the project with ease. My strengths are selecting all FF& A, hand sketched perspectives and renderings, color and materials, concept branding, conceptualizing, drafting, and the creation of spec books. I eat, sleep and breathe design and feel lucky to be able to do what I do and make a living out of my passion.
